Nurse-to-patient ratio

We keep our nurse-to-patient ratio low to ensure our nurses can provide focused, quality nursing care. For general care areas, each nurse has a maximum of four patients. In our critical care unit, each nurse will have two patients at most and only one patient in some cases. As a patient, this means your nurse can better focus on your needs. They spend time getting to know you and your family or other members of your support team and provide the highest level of care possible.
