OHH Receives Highest CMS Rating Again
Oklahoma Heart Hospital has once again received a five-star rating for both the North and South hospitals from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Hospital Compare. Fewer than eight percent of hospitals receive the top rating of five stars from CMS, and OHH is proud of the hard work and dedication demonstrated to receive this top rating.
“We’re honored to once again receive a five-star rating from CMS,” said CEO John R. Harvey, MD. “As a physician-owned hospital, we strive to provide the highest quality patient care every single day, and this rating shows that our entire staff is committed to delivering on that promise.”
The CMS program assesses the quality of care that hospitals deliver by evaluating several key areas, including readmissions, mortality, patient experience, effectiveness of care, timeliness of care, and imaging efficiency.
OHH is a consistent leader in patient satisfaction, technology, safety, and quality. In 2018, OHH received Press Ganey awards for patient satisfaction for the sixth consecutive year.
Since opening in 2002, OHH has placed the patient at the center of its design and decisions. This top rating from CMS and many other awards for patient satisfaction recognize the hospital’s ongoing commitment to patient care and satisfaction.
