Oklahoma Heart Hospital Receives Press Ganey Awards for Excellence in Patient Satisfaction

OKLAHOMA CITY (Nov. 17, 2015) – The Oklahoma Heart Hospital (OHH) received awards this week from Press Ganey Associates, Inc., for achieving high levels of excellence in patient satisfaction.
The OHH North Campus earned the 2015 Pinnacle of Excellence Award® and the OHH North Campus and OHH South Campus earned the 2015 Guardian of Excellence Award® from Press Ganey, which honor top-performing health care organizations nationwide.
The Pinnacle of Excellence Award® (formerly called the Beacon of Excellence Award®) recognizes OHH’s consistently high levels of excellence in the patient experience measured over three consecutive years. OHH has received this award for the last three years, which is only awarded to the top three hospitals in the nation based on patient satisfaction scores.
For the last three years, the OHH North Campus has also earned the Guardian of Excellence Award® for ranking in the 95th percentile in patient satisfaction. The OHH South Campus has received the award for the past two years.

In addition to these awards, OHH has also been ranked as one of health care’s “Most Wired” hospitals across the country for the last four years based on its investment in technology; one of the top 50 cardiovascular hospitals nationwide from Truven Health Analytics; and the top hospital for surgical safety in Oklahoma from Consumer Reports.
OHH also has the distinction of being the highest performing hospital in the United States for patient satisfaction based on measurements from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
OHH operates two hospitals and more than 60 clinics throughout Oklahoma. The specialists at OHH provide all of the cardiac services for patients who come to Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City and will begin managing the cardiac program at Mercy Hospital Ardmore on Jan.1, 2016.
