For Immediate Release:
August 29, 2023
OKLAHOMA CITY - Forbes magazine lists Oklahoma Heart Hospital as one of the top five Oklahoma employers in its annual America’s Best-in-State Employers for the second consecutive year. Oklahoma Heart Hospital was ranked 3rd in the survey of Oklahoma participants and was the only Oklahoma healthcare facility listed in the top 15.
Forbes surveyed 70,000 workers in all 50 United States to create its list, asking participants if they would recommend their employer to others. In addition, the survey asked for workplace evaluations based on job working conditions, diversity, compensation packages, potential for development, company image and more.
“When Oklahoma Heart Hospital was still just a dream on paper in its design phase, our physicians had the needs of the nurses, technicians and staff in mind,” said Dr. John Harvey, CEO Oklahoma Heart Hospital. “In the 21 years since we opened the doors, our nursing retention rates have been very high, Forbes’ acknowledgment of that commitment is very gratifying. Outstanding healthcare begins at the bedside - outstanding workers are committed to the best care and outstanding facilities must give them the tools to excel. Thank you, Forbes, for recognizing the people who are the heart of our organizations.”
